Sorry to blow up your blog with my anon posts.... but I just posted above with the error getting the sims to work. I noticed someone else had a similar problem and after trying for a couple hours (no joke I want them that bad) I think I may have found the issue... maybe...
When I tried to install the sims3pack you made for the other person it gave me an error it said "Requires and update. Please ensure you have the updated software"
I am wondering if there is an update I missing somewhere that is holding me back from getting these? If you or anyone could help I would love thee forever because I am love with all your sims :D

I really don't know why do they do that. I have all the updates. My game is completely up to date, but if it keeps telling you that you need an update, then I assume yours is not. But then again, it's Sims; if something can go wrong-it will. Are you sure the CCfree version doesn't work? She won't look Asian in the bin if you get CCfree one, you have to give her an Asian skin you use. I couldn't put the skin in CCfree since not all of us use the same Asian skin. Which sims won't show? All of mine or just Mayumi? Oh geez, I really can't figure out what causes this problem. After all, the CCfree one should work for EVERYONE, it's all base game. It's literally all those three shirts you get with the base game.
Oh, try to decrapify a sims3pack? That solves the 'need an update' issue? It should work with .sim files too (I'm not sure since I've never ever ran into an issue with a .sim file, that's actually why I use them instead of s3p). If that doesn't solve the problem I'll try to re-upload them all again. I was actually thinking of doing that so I could zip them.
I tried a couple of them (four in total) I even tried the one with the sim3pack and it didn't work so it is definitely something on my end. :(
I need to figure it out though because I am seriously in love with your masterpieces. I agree with whoever said it, they are definitely the most realistic I have seen! :)
I'm glad you like my sims and I'm really sorry they don't work for you. I checked them all in my game, zipped them, re-uploaded, downloaded on my brother's computer and tested them and so far, they work. All of them, even Antonia Uriba who used to crash my game but after 'Pets' works like a charm. Try them again, if they don't work, I'd suggest game-generating your SavedSims folder. And if that doesn't work, then I just don't know, what to do. I'm really sorry.
I got them to show up! I needed a patch update. Now it is just about fixing them; they show right in the preview but they have that black skin issue so I am going to try and download the custom content! So excited, getting closer!
Oh, you don't have to download CC. That black skin will go away if you click on your default skin (in CAS) and then just change hair (I'm not sure if it has to be hair, but I always do that... so yeah). It's not bug or an issue, it's just that you don't have that particular piece of CC. Just change it for the one you do have and it's gonna be fine. Oh, and if you just updated your game to patch 1.26, black skin is the least of your problems. I'm glad you got them to work and I really hope your patch didn't screw anything up.
Lovely sim! I really like it. But I have a problem. It won't show up in the game.. My downloaded sims are not .packages but .SIM files. Could it be cause of that? Sorry, I'm a noob in such things. :I
No no, I don't think that's the reason. You probably haven't updated the game to version 1.26 or got Pets. That seems to cause them not to show up in the game. Patch incompatibility, or something. I wasn't even aware that Pets' CC problem included .sim files too, but apparently it does.
